Avocat et juge, né le 4 ou le 7 avril 1834 à Bedeque, Île-du-Prince-Édouard, deuxième des 15 enfants de Jonathan Weatherbee et de Mary Baker; le 16 juin 1864, il épousa à Wolfville, Nouvelle-Écosse, Amelia (Minnie) Johnston (décédée en 1923), et ils eurent huit fils; décédé le 27 avril 1915 à Halifax.
